I started using IBOTTA about a year and half ago. It is great to be able to earn money on your purchases, but if something goes wrong ( which is often) it is very difficult to get resolved.
The resolution process is such that you cannot just email your issue. It has to fit into one of their categories (tech, rebate, etc) where they list common questions. I scanned a receipt on 9/17 and it is still pending 5 days later. No emails saying something is wrong, nothing.
Still waiting on an answer.
After this, I am cashing out and not using this anymore. The time I spent resolving issues and re-sending receipts negates the savings.
